The fellowship is interesting to me because it's an opportunity to learn from other bright and talented engineers in different industries. There is so much variance in the technologies different industry practitioners use and how they approach solving their respective problems so learning from others is an exciting and unique opportunity. It's also a great opportunity to collaborate with other leaders about the future of software and technology.

As CEO of a quickly growing startup, it’s critical to invest time and effort in consistent personal growth. In a world that has moved to be largely remote, it has become much more difficult to build that learning community. I got such a crazy amount of value in just 8 weeks. I was inspired by how easy it was to learn what I wanted and meet so many relevant people in such a short time. Why am I so excited to join On Deck's Sales Fellowship as a Founding Fellow? For me, it's threefold. It's the opportunity to level-up and get stronger alongside a community of high achievers. I've spent my career building data teams at small startups. While I love the opportunity that provides for impact, it's rare to have peer data science leaders at that size, and it can be lonely to work through data-specific challenges without them!
