Here’s why other fellows are excited about On Deck Recruiting
I'm excited to join ODR to discuss recruiting philosophies and best practices to scale companies effectively. Sharing knowledge and ideas is how we all get better, and it makes what we do in recruiting truly delightful.
I'm thrilled to be joining ODR to invest in my personal growth and company growth. I believe through peer to peer learning and connecting with the world's top recruiting professionals we can all deliver better on our recruiting goals.
Thankful for the invitation to be part of the ODR fellowship. I am really excited to participate and learn from other experts in the field of recruitment. I´d love to contribute by sharing my experience in hiring extraordinary global talent for the startup ecosystem in LATAM.
Recruitment is the first step to business growth. The right people are absolutely fundamental to business success. Leading the recruiting function at hyper growth companies in the foodtech space has been challenging, but incredibly rewarding. I'm excited to lend my support to peers - and to gain insights from them - as a part of ODR. Looking forward to harnessing the power of community!
Having led the talent function at larger organizations and later scaled teams from 0 to 2,000 at startups and early stage companies, I’m eager to join ODR and connect with ambitious talent leaders. I’ve been there, and hope I can help provide some shortcuts based on lessons learned along the way.
After a decade+ of being heads deep in Talent Acquisition for high-growth startups, I’m still constantly learning. I’m excited to be part of the ODR community as growth comes from the exchange of ideas, experiences, and lessons from the battlefield. Here to be not only an open resource for those seeking advisory in scaling recruitment teams, but also to uplift AAPI voices as a leader in the tech space.
Having been a part of communities focused on recruiting in the past, I know how valuable they can be, particularly when curated and intentionally driven to engage meaningful discussions. I am excited to join the ODR network, to share my recruiting journey with others, and to learn new ways to recruit more efficiently.
My passion lies in building high-performing recruiting teams and elevating talent. I’m excited to be a part of the ODR community and to continue to build my leadership skills. My hope is to be able to share lessons learned and best practices to allow more talent leaders to emerge and achieve great things!

FAQ
To be a good fit for ODR:
- You are probably a Senior Manager, Director, VP or Head of Talent at a small-mid sized company or a high-performing senior recruitment professional at a large-enterprise company with relevant experience, and would benefit from authentic relationships forged with like-minded talent strategists.
- Your title and duties likely include recruitment, talent strategy, global recruiting, hiring, talent acquisition, employer branding.
- You ideally have a mandate to build and scale recruiting teams and projects to grow 10x in headcount with 10x the culture
- You are open to seeking the support, coaching, and mentorship required to scale yourself and your company, all within a discrete and confidential environment.
- You are willing to share your experiences, challenge assumptions, expand your perspectives, and raise the bar for yourself and others. You’re committed to lifelong learning and carry a spirit of service to others.
ODR is a community unlike any you’ve come across - it connects top-tier recruiting leaders from all over the world who are building world class teams for which playbooks may not exist yet as the hiring landscape continues to evolve. ODR is dedicated to recruiting leaders who would benefit the most from learning and growing together, as their ambition is sky high as are their hiring targets!
We curate all programming and connections to maximize your value and time spent during the fellowship. You can dive into everything the fellowship has to offer, or opt in only to what best suits your goals and time. Membership comes with unparalleled access to our network of startups and careers fellowships, as part of the On Deck ecosystem. Think of each adjacent fellowship as potential talent pools with cross-programming and our talent hub driving introductions and insights to better understand your ideal candidate personas, and hire them! Our track record of launching 650+ companies now worth over $5 billion in the last 2 years will only continue to grow with the launch of our new accelerator ODX, as will the talent pools we can connect you to through our careers fellowships that ODR rolls up into.
Whether you are a Head of Talent at a growing startup or a Recruiting Lead or equivalent at a large established company, ODR will provide you with the opportunity to exchange practical frameworks and build deep connections with a highly-curated group of recruiting peers.
Expect 2-3 hours per week of programming for the first 4 weeks (it’s up to you when and how often you join!), followed by 1-4 hours/month for the remainder of the year. The fellowship is designed for you to opt-in to what suits your goals at any given time. We recognize that everyone in the community is in one of the busiest roles in their organization; recruiting! As such, we aim to accommodate as best as we can while respecting our fellows’ time with value-add sessions that you can attend at your own pace.
All Fellows have the option to pay in four monthly installments (with no interest or additional charges). We also have a limited number of scholarships available thanks to our Access Fund. Information about scholarship applications will be provided to accepted Fellows closer to the kickoff date.
Yes - ODR will be run entirely remotely. This enables participation from all corners of the world. We've mastered the playbook for building engaging remote communities through multiple On Deck fellowships and will apply the same approach here.
As the year progresses, we’ll be hosting offline events like dinners, small gatherings, and retreats in major cities, but the core Fellowship will remain a remote-first experience.
