On Deck Design is partnering with ADPList to champion education in mentorship around the world. This partnership includes a co-created educational module aimed at empowering designers with a better understanding of mentorship, as a manager and as a peer. The module will be taught to On Deck Design fellows and all ADPList mentors a few times a year.

About ADPList

ADPList is on a mission to Give Every Person The Freedom To Grow Together. We inspire the world by providing a platform where people can find, book and meet mentors from over 40+ countries worldwide - from 1:1s to group sessions.

About On Deck Design

On Deck Design (ODD) is a continuous community for experienced designers who want to accelerate their careers and become confident leaders through professional development and access to a trusted network of peers.

Felix Lee, Co-Founder of ADPList said:

“On Deck is one of the best, if not the best design learning program in the world - a celebrated and loved community in line with our spirit at ADPList. We are thrilled to partner with them to offer educational and inspiring mentorship insights that will celebrate our communities and spread the world’s knowledge through the most authentic mentors that benefit from this partnership.”

Mindaugas Petruitis, Program Director of On Deck Design added:

“This partnership is an incredible opportunity to start introducing some education on mentorship around the world. We’re incredibly excited to collaborate with ADPList, since a lot of our fellows are already mentors. This is a first small step in introducing best practices on mentorship and creating more confident hiring managers and teams who are willing to open up more opportunities to those entering the industry or transitioning careers to design.”

This partnership officially kicks off on March 8th with an educational module available and delivered to all On Deck Design fellows ledby Felix Lee, and Wendy Johansson - Program Partner at On Deck Design. Sessions in the module will cover the differences between mentoring and coaching, mentoring within and outside of your organisation and much more.

Spaces in On Deck Design are limited, and the cohort is filling fast - apply today!
