Here’s why fellows are excited about On Deck Corporate Innovation
Where else can you find the power of a hyper-focused community of like-minded individuals who have valuable wisdom to share on a networking platform? OnDeck looks like the platform where ideas are sparked, connections are made, and deals are done. I'm into that!
It’s tiring. It can get lonely. You being to question your sanity…
The innovator’s dilemma is real. Over time, corporate inertia has extinguished some of the brightest lights. Which is why I believe every innovator needs a strong support group of like-minded dreamers. ODCI is that group.
Multinationals have the breadth to reach humans and identify their problems; entrepreneurs take this one step further and create disruptive value. Corporate innovators sit at the intersection of these two personas, helping large enterprises embody an entrepreneurial mindset to scale change.
I'm excited to join ODCI to exchange ideas and best practices with likeminded thought leaders in the Corporate Innovation space! I'm looking forward to learning and applying new innovation design frameworks to opportunities and challenges we face in areas such as climate change and public health.
In the age of climate change and the necessary new alliances for large corporations with startups, connecting with other innovative organizations and peers in different industries is a unique ressource. I am looking forward to share, connect and learn with a vibrant community and the global On Deck family.
The emerging role of corporations in supporting global innovation cannot be understated, and it is heartening to see so many enterprises that are actively striving to become respected and steadfast contributors to the venture world. Corporate venturing is here to stay, and I'm so excited to play a role in guiding and supporting the next generation of corporate stewards who want to bring forth more innovation into the world.
Across the innovation landscape, there are so many companies facing similar innovation challenges. I am excited about the opportunity to work with other innovation leaders across various industries to understand solutions that worked to solve problems or cross barriers, novel ways to approach challenges, understand what’s emerging on the horizon, and network with potential to create something new.
Inspiring innovation is not a simple task. I am thrilled to be a part of the brain trust ODCI has established and to help shape corporate innovation practices more broadly.
While the work can be exciting and impactful, working in the innovation space at a company can feel lonely. And for that reason, I am so thrilled to be a part of ODCI and have the opportunity to connect with peers who understand the challenges and triumphs in corporate innovation! THIS is the community I’ve been looking for and I can’t wait to get started.
I look forward to helping build this new community of entrepreneurs and pre-entrepreneurs from the ground up. We like to call entrepreneurs the ultimate "impact scalers", and ODCI is an opportunity to build support for venture capital to even further scale the impact of these up and coming startups in their journey to deliver innovative solutions for the world's biggest challenges. This is what corporate venture is all about.
To truly disrupt global business we must work together. As Innovation leaders each of us have the ability to transform our organizations, to bring new ideas, cultures, and technologies into these spaces, to build out rather than in. What I look forward to with the launch of ODCI is the opportunity to share skills, practices, failures, and successes on the road to real change within our employers/clients and our own outlooks.
I am joining ODCI because I believe pan-industry peer collaboration holds significant power in addressing global challenges through innovation. I believe ODCI will help amplify the positive impact I make and my leadership potential by expanding my innovation toolkit and network. I am most looking forward to meeting fellow innovation leaders who share my passion for creative problem solving and experience + business design.

500+ employees
Expect 2-3 hours per week of programming for the first 4 weeks (it’s up to you how much you join!), followed by 1-4 hours/month for the remainder of the year. The fellowship is designed for you to opt-in to what suits your goals and time. We recognize that everyone in the community is a time-scarce and we aim to accommodate as best as we can while respecting our fellows’ time.
Our goal is to make the Fellowship accessible to the absolute best talent, no matter their financial situation. Please reach out to us at odci@beondeck.com to discuss your personal situation.
All Fellows have the option to pay in four monthly installments (with no interest or additional charges). We also have a limited number of scholarships available thanks to our Access Fund. Information about scholarship applications will be provided to accepted Fellows closer to the kickoff date.
Yes - ODCI will be run entirely remotely. This enables participation from all corners of the world. We've mastered the playbook for building engaging remote communities through multiple On Deck fellowships and will apply the same approach here.
As the year progresses, we’ll be hosting offline events like dinners, small gatherings, and retreats in major cities, but the core Fellowship will remain a remote-first experience.
After one year of membership, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership. If you choose not to renew your membership, you will no longer have access to On Deck platforms, networks, and content. To regain access, you’ll have to re-apply for a future fellowship.
